Paper; it might not seem like an obvious way to support woods and trees. However, with a little bit of innovative thinking, we’ve teamed up with Premier Paper to develop a range of paper that helps businesses curb their carbon emissions by planting trees.
More than £1 million has been raised by Premier Paper; that's enough to fund the planting of 443,564 trees.

More than 500 Premier Paper customers have signed up to Carbon Capture, which utilises the Woodland Trust’s Woodland Carbon scheme to mitigate the CO2 emissions generated by the production, storage and distribution of the paper they purchase.
An additional £10.20 is paid for each tonne of paper bought. This is passed on to the Trust to fund the planting of trees, which can absorb carbon that would otherwise be released into the atmosphere.

The success of Carbon Capture saw Premier Paper launch Woodland Trust Office Paper in 2014. For every pack of the paper sold, 5p of the wholesale price goes directly to the Trust. Of this, 2p goes towards Woodland Carbon and 3p to our other work, such as the protection and restoration of ancient woodland.
