Help us save Coed Wern from destruction
Ancient woodland is under threat from a holiday park proposal in Glasinfryn, near Bangor.
The proposal includes 40 holiday lodges which will be sited across Coed Wern-ty-gwyn, as well as the associated infrastructure needed to run the development. A significant proportion of the woodland will be felled in order to accommodate the lodges.
An irreplaceable ancient woodland is not a suitable place for a holiday park. Not only will the woodland experience loss and damage, the lives of the creatures who call Coed Wern home will never be the same again.
A planning application has now been submitted to Gwynedd Council. We have to show them that this woodland deserves saving.
