Building a successful and sustainable woodfuel partnership

Ancient woodland restoration at Penn Wood in the Chilterns is also supporting a hugely successful woodfuel partnership.

As the restoration work continues, the Woodland Trust is working with a local biomass energy company, helping produce woodfuel for the local community. Next to the benefits of restoring ancient woodland the partnership also:

• provides low-carbon
• renewable, woodfuel for the local community.
