Join us on a beginner-friendly guided walk to learn how to recognise different tree species and why they need to be protected.

Want to learn more about the UK’s tree species and the wildlife that calls them home? Then come along to Heartwood Forest to learn our expert tips and tricks for tree identification.
We’ll explore how to recognise various common trees using their leaves, bark or other clues, up close and from a distance. We’ll also find out why protecting trees is so important and discover what we can all do to help these fascinating plants.
This short guided walk is ideal for all ages and is suitable for anyone with an interest in trees, wildlife and nature.
This is a free event but booking in advance via Eventbrite is essential.
Please dress appropriately for the weather and wear sturdy footwear.
The event is suitable for children aged eight and above. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.
