Castell Coch is a Victorian folly just south of the extensive woodlands in the Tongwynlais area near Cardiff. The wooded grounds are accessible from the Taff Trail and buses and trains stop in the area. There are MTB trails and some of the paths are accessible for horses. Excellent views of the Taff Valley.
