Torridon Estate 3

The Torridon Estate woodlands are spectacularly set around Loch Torridon and Glen Torridon and with Liathach a dramatic backdrop. Torridon is accessible by bus from Strathcarron. You don't have to be a mountaineer to explore much of this wood, as Gail's photographs clearly illustrate. You can enjoy lower walks with great views of the loch and mountains. However if you do use the woods as a kicking off point for the surrounding mountains, do make sure you are properly equipped and skilled.
